 I'm working on some new cards for spring. I'm hoping I will be able to participate in an art fair or festival of some sort, and to do so I need a good supply of cards to sell. Woo Hoo! I finally finished my Halloween wreath. First I wraped the entire wreath with black glittery ribbon. Then for the sign I used some cardboard. I cut it to make it look all ragged. ok, so this is what I came up with. I used a pink satiny type fabric for the back and a red mesh for the front. Then I sewed the word LOVE on red felt using pink beads. Then I stuffed it with dried herbs from my garden. I used lemon balm and chocolate mint. I love the way chocolate mint smells. Ok, so I finally finished the lemon cake. I went with my mom's recipe, which is: Use cake mix to make lemon cake in a 13 x 9 pan Mix small box of lemon pudding with 2 cups of milk After cake cools poke boocoos of holes in cake Save a small amount of pudding to mix with a small container of whip cream to use for icing The thing is I decided my friend will only have two days to eat on this cake

I don't really have much of a garden. We are renting this house so we've chosen not to till up any of the yard. We do have a brick planter on the back deck which I have tried to turn into a garden. Ok, so thanks to the kindness of a fellow blogger I now have what I believe is the recipe for the macaroni grill lemon cake. Unfortunately I do not have all the ingredients or money to buy the ingredients. That's ok though. I am still going to make something. I have a few ideas. My mom has this great recipe that involves poking holes in the cake and pouring some sweet lemony sauce in them.
