Finster Fest 2014 photos!

So, I am behind in getting my post but I'm going to try to be better. I am so excited to have been a part of Finster Fest. This is my tent all set up with the help of my parents and my sister. I could not have done this without them.
My amazing sister drove me and all my stuff there and helped me set up. Then she sat with me all weekend.

So here are some pictures from the festival, well pictures of my booth at the festival. I will write more when time permits.

Spice Rack

Here is another piece I am selling at Finster Fest. It is a spice rack I painted with acrylic paint.
The rack measures 15 5/8" from side to side, 19 1/4" in height and 2 5/8" deep. Please let me know
if you have any questions.

I need a little help

So I'm working on this project and I love it, the only problem is some of the drawers won't fit into the spaces. I guess I used too much paint. Pictures are self explanatory. Sooo, what do I do?

Vinyl chalk decals!!!

Many, many months ago, maybe even last summer, I bought this spice rack at a friend's yardsale. It was brown and had all these cool glass spice bottles inside. It was very dusty and some of the bottles were stained, but I just knew I could make it the spice rack of my dreams. So, finally, many many months, maybe a year later, I painted it and found these awesome vinyl chalk labels to put on the bottles. It took a while but I filled the bottles with dried spices from my garden. Here is the result.

You can find these awesome decals at http://www.etsy.com/shop/chalkandtalk .
They are an awesome shop on etsy with tons of decals to choose from and if you purchase their chalk marker I can tell you it works wonderfully. I highly recommend going there. Another great shop to buy larger decals from is http://www.etsy.com/shop/LetsTalkChalk . I got this fridge decal from them

I ordered the larger chalk markers off of ebay. Whew, baby is awake so that's all I can post now, at least I got that much done...!

hobby lobby luvin

Okay, Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite stores. It's my happy place. Ofcourse I love all the craft stores but we seem to buy more stuff from Hobby Lobby. They have amazing sales, especially on their seasonal items and furniture items that are always being changed out. Most recently we came across a jewerly armoire that will make me the perfect nightstand. I am currently using a plastic storage bin as a nightstand and it is horrible. Great for storing crafts but not so great for being a nightstand. It's a foot shorter than my bed and so small it barely holds my lamp. So I was very excited to come across this piece of furniture. I think it is a jewerly armoire because the drawers are lined in black velvet. So here it is when we found it. The only problem. It's pink and green. Our house is done in blues, greens and beige. No pink. Plus we have a nautical theme all throughout our house. This watermelon chest doesn't fit in. See:But check out the deal we got. Originally $139.99 marked down to $28That's $28!!!Soooo....I painted it with some paint sample of the colors I originally wanted to paint our bedrooms. Now it is right at home. :) Thank you Hobby Lobby
