so far, so good

Ok, so thanks to the kindness of a fellow blogger I now have what I believe is the recipe for the macaroni grill lemon cake. Unfortunately I do not have all the ingredients or money to buy the ingredients. That's ok though. I am still going to make something. I have a few ideas. My mom has this great recipe that involves poking holes in the cake and pouring some sweet lemony sauce in them. Although that works best with a flat rectangalur cake and I really really like round layered cakes. I just think they are so pretty. I saw on another site where someone had used rasberries as a filling. What other fruits might taste good with lemon? I always have such big ambitions for birthdays and they usually never pan out the way I want them too. This particular friend is only in town until monday and then she goes back to new mexico. I'm sure her family will want to spend her birthday with her so I don't even know for sure I'll get to see her. geesh. well somebody is getting a lemon cake. Anywho I am very glad with how this blogging thing is turning out. I've found lots of inspiring creative women who so far seem extremly nice. I see how this can become addictive. I only wish I was at home right now so I could be working on something. Instead I am at work. Which isn't so bad because I love my job and I get to spend alittle time online. That's all for now.
